Funerals

At this difficult time, our role as qualified Funeral Celebrants is to provide you with a personalised service. From information given, we compose and conduct a service that reflects the personality and wishes of the deceased person or their family. We encourage the "celebration of life" when deemed appropriate.

To provide a quality ceremony, we use a balance of words and music which pay proper and adequate respect, not only to the deceased person but to the families and guests who attend the funeral.

We respect the wishes of the families with regard to religious content and can perform ceremony's that range from non-religious to full scripture readings that reflect the families religious belief's and denomination.

A typical Ceremony format would be:-

  • Introduction and welcome by the Celebrant.
  • The deceased - A summing up of the life, work and personality of the deceased person.
  • Eulogies - Family members and friends can use this time to recall personal tributes and memories that the deceased person had with them.
  • Reflection - A time when personal quiet reflection is given in honour of the deceased person's life. This is usually accompanied by suitable music of your choosing.
  • Commendation and farewell - An opportunity for the bereaved to express their last goodbyes through words and appropriate verse.
  • Committal - Final closure as the deceased passes from our view.
